Boil Water Advisory

Boil Water Advisory
December 24, 2021
A precautionary boil advisory is in effect for all of Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Jefferson County, MO until further notice.
A major break on a 10-inch water main occurred early Friday morning. This caused a low-pressure event in the water system serving the City of Arnold. Our crews are working hard to get water service restored to all customers. Once fixed, there will be a lot of air in the lines. Customers will want to run faucets once service is restored to push air out.
We do not believe the water has been contaminated but are taking precautionary steps to ensure water is safe. However due to the holidays, the boil advisory will remain in effect until water can be tested. A notice will be posted once the boil advisory is lifted.
All District No. 1 water customers are under a precautionary water boil advisory until further notice. For more information on boil water advisories, visit https://dnr.mo.gov/document-search/boil-water-orders-boil-water-advisories-pub2001/pub2001
